Development plans are officially underway for two new Publix Super Markets in Nashville. In a response to the longing for more grocery options from residents, the two new Publix location will be in the Gulch and 8th Avenue South areas.
Publix officials announced the finalized deal on Monday.
The new plans include a 39,000-square-foot store with a pharmacy at 2223 8th Avenue South. The second location will be at the corner of Charlotte Avenue and 11th Avenue North in the Gulch. This location will be 26,000-square-foot and include all of the popular Publix amenities to include a pharmacy and "grab and go" section for items like sandwiches and sushi.
Opening dates have not been set yet.
