This past weekend, marked our first full week of social distancing. While we found ourselves at home snacking, napping or being productive, some of us had the chance to party with our favorite artists and celebrities from the likes of Rihanna and Oprah to Joe Biden and even Stevie Wonder! No, you didn't have to leave the comfort of your own home, DJ D Nice brought out more than 100K viewers this past Saturday evening for his Homeschool series. From old school to new school back to the latest and greatest, viewers found themselves on his Instagram Live engaging with each other like it was a club, Club Quarantine it became.
DJ D Nice no amateur, had been hosting Instagram Live parties since Wednesday but it peaked Saturday as he went on for nine hours straight. No stranger to the music industry, D Nice, producer, rapper and photographer served as the DJ for the afterparty at the final music event hosted by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama at the White House in 2016; not to mention part of the historic Rap group, Boogie Down Productions.
The importance of DJs really showed this past weekend. The gift of being able to change emotions and feelings in a time of crisis is truly something to be proud of!
