Education is still important even in the midst of a pandemic. Children are unable to go to school and some parents are unable to attend work. The former First Lady Michelle Obama is doing her part and is reading children's books over free livestreams. For those children and parents that are stuck at home, this activity may help.
"Mondays With Michelle Obama" started this Monday with the reading of "The Gruffalo. The reading will take place every Monday through May 11. The collaboration is a project between Obama, Penguin Young Readers, Random House Children's Books, and PBS Kids.The livestreams will be on Facebook and the PBS Kids YouTube channel.
