Monday morning, Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson announced a countywide face covering mandate. This comes to be effective Tuesday, July 7th. Back on July 3, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed Executive Order 54 that granted county mayors the authority to issue requirements for face masks in public places.
Used to slow the spread of COVID-19 cases, this will expire at 11:59PM on August 3, 2020. Governor Lee has encouraged everyone to wear their masks when out in public.
