With the mask enforcement mandate helping to keep us safe, Metro Police are also making sure we are sticking to the rules. Metro Police are going beyond Broadway to make sure people are following the mask mandate in other popular destinations in Nashville. This weekend the police expanded focus on Broadway, Demonbreun Street, and the Gulch area.
About 30 officers asked people to wear a mask to slow the spread of COVID-19. On Friday night, according to police, they gave more 1,000 warnings and issued 9 citations and made one mask-related arrest.
