After clubbing until 4:00 A.M. in New York City, LINDSAY and DINA LOHAN got into a FIGHT in a limo on the way home.  It apparently had to do with whether they were going to Lindsay's apartment or Dina's house . . . and also a $40,000 loan Lindsay had given Dina.  There was some kind of PHYSICAL scuffle, because a diamond bracelet of Lindsay's broke, and apparently cut her leg. During the limo ride, Lindsay called her dad MICHAEL. . . which, of course, was like throwing gasoline on a fire.  Michael, of course, did nothing but escalate the situation . . . telling Lindsay she was being KIDNAPPED, and threatening to have the limo driver arrested by the feds.  Police showed up later at Dina's house and took a domestic violence report, but didn't arrest anyone.  A spokesman said, quote, "Police conducted an investigation and determined a verbal argument had occurred between Lindsay and her mom Dina.  There's no criminality and no arrests were made."

BEN AFFLECK says he still keeps in touch with several of his exes, especially JENNIFER LOPEZ . . . quote, "We don't have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there'll be an e-mail saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great.'"  He also still sees MATT DAMON, quote, "almost too often."

ALEX KARRAS . . . the NFL great who went on to play EMMANUEL LEWIS' adopted dad on the '80s sitcom "Webster" . . . died of kidney failure yesterday.  He was 77.  Karras also battled dementia in his later years, and was among thousands of former players who sued the NFL for concussion-related injuries.  He's survived by his wife SUSAN CLARK . . . who played his wife on "Webster" . . . and their daughter.

STEVIE NICKS has apologized for saying she would have killed NICKI MINAJ for disrespecting MARIAH CAREY on "American Idol".  She says, quote, "I said [it] during a long and exhausting day of interviews.  It was very out of character for me and I deeply regret what I said . . I think all artist should be respectful toward one another and that includes me.  I am truly sorry."

LIAM NEESON made $1 million for the original "Taken".  He made $10 million for "Taken 2".  And if there's a "Taken 3" . . . which is a distinct possibility since the sequel was such a hit . . . he could bank as much as $20 million.

The second season of "American Horror Story" . . . which is called "American Horror Story: Asylum" . . . premieres next Wednesday, but the show has released a five-minute preview online.
