I am appauled that your radio station let that tabloid trash Jessica Simpson blatantly lie about Carrie Underwood-- and that you took her side without even giving carrie the benefit of the doubt. The Allure magazine article was done in May, when Tony was in fact, still calling Carrie. Carrie has phone records and can prove this.. I am sure. Jessica is trashing carrie all over country radio and the tabloids for attention- and you guys owe carrie the benefit of the doubt. What has she ever done to you-- that you would jump on hte jessica bandwagon when she is about as country as SNoop Dogg? Tony is a player and used both of them- trying to have his cake and eat it too. Jessica is lying- she knew carrie was a vegetarian and wore the shirt to diss carrie- just as she dissed her today. Hey 107.5 THE RIVER ROCKS! I listen to yall every day at work & in the car! Its the first thing I do when I get to work, go to the river's website, listen live and check out all the gossip and news on everyone's gossip page. So many links and it gives you all the new scoop plus i get to listen to yall rock at the sametime. YOUR THE BEST!!! Got a little effonded
Good morning,
I wanted to thank you for all you do. You guys are the best :) Anyhow, something was bothering me and I just wanted to share it with you guys. This morning I was listening to the phone scam and I heard something that made me very upset. The lady getting scammed was trying to defend herself and say that she is not a terrorist and she said :" what? they think I'm a middle- eastern Muslim?" Now, I am not trying to be two difficult here but as a middle-eastern Muslim I was very much insulted. This shows me that we still don't have the capacity to change and see beyond race, gender, religion and so forth...
Anyhow, sorry if I made you read this when it really wasn't anything you guys said that was insulting. Needless to say, this hasn't changed my love for 107.5 the river at all... You know the first thing I do when I sit in my car in the morning or when I get to work is turning the radio on and tunning it on the river. :)

I looked at the Miley pictures, and I must agree in saying they have been blown way out of proportion. Her parents were on the set, she obviously wasn't being taken advantage of. The pictures don't show anything more than a bathing suit would. They look like a picture that every 15 year old girl has taken at a sleepover with her friends.
She is an idol for little kids across the country, but 5 year olds shouldn't see this picture anyway. Just because the picture is out there, doesn't mean every single one of her fans is going to see it. People need to chill and let this girl make a few mistakes, if that's what you want to call this.

First off i want to say i love listenin to adam in the mornings.I love jammin with you guys.I seen the photo's of Miley,myself don't like.She is a very young girl,famous or not she should not make herself out like that.That is an eye opener to all predtors,men who are already using young girls and abusing them online,I think that gives the men like that ideas that they can harm young girls Miley's age.Me, myself would not allow my child to pose like that,yes there is beauity in photo's,but theres alot more to beauity than posing half nude.Beauity comes from heart,smiles & love not the breast or back side. So sorry for your loss, Jim. I know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet as I lost my first furbaby, Titan, just this past January. He was a little over 8 years old. Just focus on how much happier Magic is running in heaven with Chloe. No more pain.

I work for a commercial truck rental & leasing company and this happens to experience drivers let alone the crazy ones!
Now wether it happen on purpose or not "Who Knows!" I can tell you though it had people listening all day long and tooned in more than normal to find out what was going to happen "NEXT". Just think of how many listners heard for the first time and now they are hooked!
Don't take any of them away YOU WILL LOSE LISTENERS!

RICH, GET A LIFE!!!!!!! I have been listening to Woody And Jim since the days they were on FLY92 in Albany, NY. THey did crazy stuff up there too. I also worked for the %$&hole of an owner of the radio station up there too. The owner also owned 3 car dealerships too. He wasn't fair with Woody and Jim up there over the Clinton thing they did up there. You seem like an %$&hole too if you are going to punish Adam, Woody, and Jim. It is what they call a simple mistake. That is why you pay for insurance on a vehicle and building in case thus happens. I am willing to bet that you are not perfect either. I think that it was awsome that Woody and Jim put you on the air to prove that you are a true dumb a$$s. Here is a simple answer to the problem, have Adam go and take a defensive driving class. I think that he will learn from what has happened. I drive an 18 wheeler and I'm telling you this honestly, I've seen worse damage than that.

I absolutely love listening to Woody and Jim in the mornings. I've really enjoyed listening to Adam as well. He seems really sweet. I know part of his... well his blonde type moments are just for show. I thought the poor guy was smarter than that. As low as the building looks... I would have been afraid of chopping the top off of my little car. If he had just driven in without thinking, that would be one thing. But the fact that he got out of the truck and then go back in.... that just makes him an idiot. Adam--- I still love you dear... but I think you need to party less, sleep more, and go back to elementary school and learn measurement all over again. I'm a school teacher, maybe I can help you help some. By they way, 15 feet is much bigger than 7 feet.

After reading all the other comments, I hope you realize, that your action was worse than Adams. He simple misjudged, you JUDGED and the wrong people. I have listened to this show since moving to Nashville now for 12 years!! My son was in middle school then and I wanted to know what he was listening to, so I have been listing to Woody and Jim from the first day they were on air.
I always talk about the station and Woody and Jim at work. I tell everyone that I really need a bumper sticker that reads:
I'M NOT CRAZY ~ I'M JUST LISTENING TO WOODY AND JIM!!
That's because they keep me laughing everyday on my commute to work.
I'm in agreement with everyone else, if Woody and Jim go, I will never turn 107.5 on again.

So I'm VERY happy to hear that Woody and Jim are "safe." They are just goofy guys and let me remind "you" (Rich Davis) that their popularity stems from the fact that they are silly and do dumb things on the radio. So Adam accidentally ran the truck into the building. Buildings can be replaced, trucks can be replaced, but people can't. So we should be thankful that Adam is alright and that it was just a "fender bender." Maybe he was being stupid but I can't say I haven't made equally stupid mistakes before. This is one of those one-time incidents; it's not like Adam is going to do it again. He misjudged something in a hurry. Don't punish him (and more importantly, you're FAITHFUL LISTENERS) by taking him off the air. I love Adam and will sorely miss him if you don't let him come back. Do yourself a favor and don't make this a bigger deal than it is. Bring Adam back!!

Look, I once worked in radio. My boss was an uptight $^*& Rich. Adam admitted he accidently done it. You blame Woddy & Jim for it. I think they are being falsely accused. The truck is not damaged that bad. Plus you carry insurance on the truck. Why sh!t happens. You pulled Woody & Jim off the air,all the while Adam is admitting he accidently did it. Now Adam is cool when it is him and Woody & Jim with him. Otherwise he sucked. He had dead air, fading in and out the music,Answering his celly while on the air and getting text messages. He didn't have a clue as to what to do.If this was a joke then the joke is on you. I know Woody & Jim are jokers and have in the past done some crazy sh!it. In my opinion, Woody and Jim are the best part of Nashville radio. When I'm in the car in the morning, I always have the radio tuned to 107.5. Would I stop listening to 107.5 if they were to leave? Maybe not completely, but I most definitely would switch to CDs or my Sirius in the mornings. They're hilarious and make a commute MUCH better.

What a jerk of a manager! I have been in management for over 20 years and it is your responsibility to handle the BS that goes with employee's making mistakes. I felt that the way you handled Woody and Jim on the air was totally out of line. As many other listeners have said, if Woody and Jim are off the air in the morning, I will also no longer listen to your station.

When I got in my car this morning before I headed off to school, I heard Adam talking about what happened and the comments that some people have left on the site. I am so upset about it and I hope that Woody & Jim do not lose their job. Both of them and Adam, and Madison, and Butter all make the show what it is today. The "suits" need to realize that over half of Nashville and outer linking cities listen to this station and I am a loyal listener every morning, during my lunch break, and after school...even at home when I am doing homework. 107.5 is the only radio station I listen to and if it is gone, no more radio for me. The other stations can never stand up to 107.5 and I hope this situation ends up alright. Don't fret Adam...God will take control of it. Good Luck!

Makes NO sense!!!!!!
What happened this morning just doesn't add up. I tuned it after Adam had already hit the building, about 5 minutes before Rich Davis came on the air. I am hoping that it's a big joke, and judging by Adam's VERY OBVIOUS flubs and screw-ups on the air (The 98 WSIX call sign was funny though!), I believe it is a prank. At least I hope so! If it isn't, then Rich Davis, this is for you: Go back and listen to the radio...nothing I heard made me think Woody OR Jim had anything to do with Adam's accident. And it isn't like Adam did it on purpose! But if you wanna have a "talk" with someone, talk to Adam...I don't wanna see him go either, but he's the one that hit the building, not Woody and Jim! I listen to 107.5 EVERY morning on my way to work, but just like all these other posters, if Woody and Jim get fired I will no longer listen to your station. The same music gets played over and over again anyway, but I love the morning show!
So anyway, I hope I can tune in tomorrow and find out it was just a big joke! If it is, then kudos guys, you got us ALL! If not, I hope that the bosses get smart and realize that if they let you go, their morning ratings will TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I listen to Woody and Jim every norning on the way to work. We LOVE there show. The pranks and scams are hilarious! If you take them off the air we will no longer listen to your radio station. This is crazy!! SH&t happens GET OVER IT!
Woody and Jim are the best!! It's not even a close race....they get my mornings off to a good start each weekday. I've learned to shave during the songs or commercials after cutting myself so many times laughing at an unexpected joke.
I would have to agree with the other posters that I would not be a listener any longer if they aren't there. They ARE The River!
They are also good guys. I've never called in, but have sent many emails. Jim ALWAYS replies if only to say "Thanks for listening". Considering their many fans and busy schedule, that is a courtesy that very few would give.

This has got to be one HUGE joke. No radio manager in their right mind would let someone that inexperienced run a radio show alone, much less make that many obvious mistakes on the air without it being a joke. Yes Another Case of Corporate Mis-management
As one of your older listeners, I was appalled to learn that Woody and Jim might be let go due to an accident on the part of one of the company employee's. They appeared to be as shocked by Adam's actions as the next person.
Accidents do happen. Woody and Jim are one of the few family friendly morning shows available. If they are removed, it will just reinforce my decision to go back to listening to "real" radio- Jonathan Brandmeir streamed via the WLUP in Chicago.
Now, if you think Woody and Jim pull stunts, try listening to some real radio and see what it's all about. Of course, Clearchannel isn't worth much anyway- the music is certainly boring and repetitive.

I believe the suits owe it to the listeners to keep all 3 of them on the air. If it wasn't for us there would be no show at all! It looks to me like 99% of us want them to stay. I have been listening every morning as I drive my kids to school and then myself to work. When I get to work I make sure our radio is tuned to 107.5. Accidents happen and insurance takes care of things. I could not believe Woody and Jim were pulled off the air and no offence Adam but you seemed a bit lost in the studio. So is this all you have to do to run a morning show, if I come drive thru your building will you let me run the show. It would make as much sence as them firing all of you for this nonsence. All I can say to the big bosses at this point is IF I TUNE IN TOMORROW AND WOODY AND JIM ARE NO LONGER ON THE AIR I WILL ERASE YOU FROM MY PRESETS AND GO BACK TO THE OTHER STATION THAT ENTERTAINED ME FOR SO MANY YEARS!!!!!!!!! Without Woody & Jim in the mornings i will not have a pleasant drive to work in the mornings , my daughter will not be singing to all the songs they play, i will not have a pleasant morning at work without them making me laugh and giggle. They are by far the best DJ's in the industry, if they leave i will no longer be a loyal listener. I listen daily my radio is tuned to the river in my car at home and at work . My children and I listen to Woody and Jim every morning on the way to take my daughter to school. We just love Woody, Jim, and Intern Adam. I think it would be a big mistake to get rid of them. A whole lot of listeners would switch to another station and the ratings would go down. I don't think the suits want that to happen. Your not going to find anyone better than them. They make people laugh. I work 3rd shift and look forward to hearing them every morning when I get off. I looked at the pictures of the truck and it's not that bad. COME ON!!!!
Everybody should give the big man in the suit a little sympathy. He is under a lot of stress due to his upcoming surgery...to remove the HUGE STICK UP HIS A**. Yes Woody and Jim goof off but guess what big man in a suit that is what you PAY THEM FOR. I listened to todays show from the beginnning. All Woody and Jim did was poke fun at one of Adam's mistakes like they always do. You also whine about being put on the air guess what Genius when you call a radio station most of the time you get put on the AIR DUH. You would think that since you work for a radio station you would have figured this out unless this is your first day. Just to make another point by just leaving Adam by himself you made yourself and your station sound STUPID. *Forgive me Adam this wasn't your fault but I have to point this out*. You leave Adam by himself to push buttons most of which he doesn't know by the obvious blunders he made this morning for the 90+ minutes you had him "running" the show as you called it. Not sure if you noticed but I and I'm sure many other listeners did that as Adam was causing many songs to fade in and out, playing commercials during songs my favorite has to be when he played the intro music for the BIG 98 instead of the River. Ok now as far as you having to deal with the situation. Call the insurance company and let them handle it that is what THEY get paid to do. You need to calm down. By the way should you let any of these guys go I along with (as it looks) many many listeners will find other stations. I personally will boycott any station in which you are affiliated and that includes the Big 98, and your talk radio etc.

Ok, this is stupid. First off, the suits should never have taken Woody & Jim off the air. They could have waited to interrogate them after the show. And as for Adam, yea that was pretty dumb what you did. I thought it wasn't too cool of you to ask people this morning if they would still listen if W&J left, but they kept you. That would be messed up since it was your fault. And even if they did put you up to it (which I don;t believe they did), you're an adult and can take responsibility for your own actions. I thought the morning show (I tuned in at 8:30) sucked bad. Adam has much more to learn.....lesson one: cell phones have a vibrate option for a reason. Woody & Jim: I hope you're back tomorrow morning cause my long drive to mtsu just wasn't the same.

Do not make the mistake of takeing Woody and Jim off air. They are so loved and have become a part of a lot of family's. They are a BIG part of a lot of people's every day lifes. If you took them off of 107 you would be breaking a lot of hearts.My daughter and I don't have much that we agree on that we do together (she is a teen lol) but listing to woody and Jim is the only one thing we do together that we love.So if you take them away from all of the people. Seriously, don't make the mistake of taking them off the air. You WILL most certainly lose listeners. We can get this music ANYWHERE. We listen to your station because of the on air personalities!

Don't get rid of Woody and Jim
The biggest allure of ANY radio show is the DJ's - Yes the genre of music that is played brings a listener to the station - but the DJ's and the things that they say & do are what keep people coming back. I think the suits need to step back and see how many people listen to their station not only in the morning but all day long. I personally stopped listening to "that other station" when they changed the DJ's for that simple fact. Woody, Jim and Adam are a great team - don't split them up!

My kids and I listen to you every morning on the way to taking them to school. I think Woody & Jim and intern Adams are the best. We look forward to each morning and what their up to. I think the producers need to get a grip and let it go. If you take them off I'll be changing radio stations. Hope you'll keep these great guys on the radio. It won't be the same without them. I am really really really hoping that this is a ridiculous stunt by Rick or Rich or whatever his name is. There is no question that the loss of Woody and Jim in the mornings would seriously hurt ratings! I listen to them EVERY morning on my way to work. I look forward to it! These guys always put me in a good mood. Today, however, I am very bitter with the management of this station. Why would you BLAME woody and jim for an ACCIDENT that they weren't even around for!? Seems to me that they bring all the fun and interesting insight to the mornings. Get rid of them, and lose TONS of listeners-including myslef! (Adam- you're doin your thing though. And learnin from the best! Keep up the good work! You're hilarious!)

I wanted to thank you for all you do. You guys are the best :) Anyhow, something was bothering me and I just wanted to share it with you guys. This morning I was listening to the phone scam and I heard something that made me very upset. The lady getting scammed was trying to defend herself and say that she is not a terrorist and she said :" what? they think I'm a middle- eastern Muslim?" Now, I am not trying to be two difficult here but as a middle-eastern Muslim I was very much insulted. This shows me that we still don't have the capacity to change and see beyond race, gender, religion and so forth...
Anyhow, sorry if I made you read this when it really wasn't anything you guys said that was insulting. Needless to say, this hasn't changed my love for 107.5 the river at all... You know the first thing I do when I sit in my car in the morning or when I get to work is turning the radio on and tunning it on the river. :)

I work for a commercial truck rental & leasing company and this happens to experience drivers let alone the crazy ones!
Now wether it happen on purpose or not "Who Knows!" I can tell you though it had people listening all day long and tooned in more than normal to find out what was going to happen "NEXT". Just think of how many listners heard for the first time and now they are hooked!
Don't take any of them away YOU WILL LOSE LISTENERS!
Here is a simple answer to the problem, have Adam go and take a defensive driving class. I think that he will learn from what has happened. I drive an 18 wheeler and I'm telling you this honestly, I've seen worse damage than that.
I always talk about the station and Woody and Jim at work. I tell everyone that I really need a bumper sticker that reads:
I'M NOT CRAZY ~ I'M JUST LISTENING TO WOODY AND JIM!!
That's because they keep me laughing everyday on my commute to work.
I'm in agreement with everyone else, if Woody and Jim go, I will never turn 107.5 on again.

I was absolutely thrilled when I got in my car this morning and you guys were back on the air!! I was so worried about you guys after the show yesterday. Obviously, you guys had nothing to do with Intern Adam's stupidity. Like everyone else has posted, if you guys would have gotten fired I would no longer to your station. I listen to you guys every morning and you make my commute much more enjoyable.
Since you opened this can of worms here's an FYI for you....Adam's voice nauseates me. When he does a commercial, I turn the sound down until he's finished talking.
You've got to be kidding, is this a stunt to get your listeners to log on to the 1075theriver.com? (is Paducah still numero uno?) If it is.....genious indeed!! If not, I would be shocked and disappointed at the Suits decision. I would never listen to 107.5 if that came to pass, they ARE The River. Love you Jim and Woody. The banged up truck and slightly damaged bldg are a small price to pay for a huge fan base of loyal listeners....that's entertainment!!!!!

When I got in my car this morning before I headed off to school, I heard Adam talking about what happened and the comments that some people have left on the site. I am so upset about it and I hope that Woody & Jim do not lose their job. Both of them and Adam, and Madison, and Butter all make the show what it is today. The "suits" need to realize that over half of Nashville and outer linking cities listen to this station and I am a loyal listener every morning, during my lunch break, and after school...even at home when I am doing homework. 107.5 is the only radio station I listen to and if it is gone, no more radio for me. The other stations can never stand up to 107.5 and I hope this situation ends up alright. Don't fret Adam...God will take control of it. Good Luck!
So anyway, I hope I can tune in tomorrow and find out it was just a big joke! If it is, then kudos guys, you got us ALL! If not, I hope that the bosses get smart and realize that if they let you go, their morning ratings will TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I started listening to the show later than I normally do and I was appalled to hear that Woody and Jim might be let go!!! The river is the only station I listen too and if Woody and Jim aren't there anymore, I'm not listening anymore!!!

Accidents do happen. Woody and Jim are one of the few family friendly morning shows available. If they are removed, it will just reinforce my decision to go back to listening to "real" radio- Jonathan Brandmeir streamed via the WLUP in Chicago.
Now, if you think Woody and Jim pull stunts, try listening to some real radio and see what it's all about. Of course, Clearchannel isn't worth much anyway- the music is certainly boring and repetitive.
I believe the suits owe it to the listeners to keep all 3 of them on the air. If it wasn't for us there would be no show at all! It looks to me like 99% of us want them to stay. If the station loses all its listeners, it's gonna lose alot more money than it will cost in repairs!! So tell the suits to think about that.
