Known in his commercials for saying "Don't you leave until you see me", Carnival Kia owner Chri Bostick was arrested Monday on assault and weapons charges, according to WKRN, News 2.

Brentwood police affidavits report that Bostick and his wife were having an argument.  According to the affidavit, he slammed the door of their home in his wife's face, leaving a "visible knot" on her face and a mark on her arm.

The affidavit went to say:

  • when she tried to dial 911, he knocked the phone out of her hand
  • she fled the house and called cops from the parking lot of Brentwood High School
  • she hated over an audio tape of the argument to cops
  • when police went to the house, they found he had left on foot
  • during their search, police found an AK-47 assault rifle and a handgun under the mattress

Chris Bostick surrendered to police Tuesday.  He was booked, and locked up in the Williamson County jail on domestic assault and weapons charges.  He left jail on bond.

The weapons charge is more serious than it appears, because he was convicted of a felony in Florida in 1989 for carrying a concealed weapon.  Because of that, he isn't allowed to own firearms.
