The nurse who answered the phone in Kate Middleton's room when 2 Austrailian DJ's called posing as the Queen Mother and Prince Charles was found dead.

According to the newspaper, The Independent, Scotland Yard beleives the nurse committed suicide.  The hospital statement was “It is with very deep sadness that we confirm the tragic death of a member of our nursing staff, Jacintha Saldanha. We can confirm that Jacintha was recently the victim of a hoax call to the hospital. The hospital had been supporting her throughout this difficult time."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge say they are deeply saddened by the news.

The DJ's, Michael Christian and Mel Greig have a show on Australian radio station 2Day FM. They were quoted earlier in the week saying they never thought they'd get through with their terrible accents.  Here's a clip of that conversation.
